Accreditations
Severn Valley Window & Door Ltd has a number of external accreditations:
Constructionline
Constructionline is the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related contractors and consultants. It is owned and endorsed by the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (formerly the DTI)
This organisation gathers and assesses pre-qualification information on behalf of public and private sector procurers and provides them with access to over 14,000 fully accredited suppliers free of charge.
CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Scheme)
A CHAS assessment makes sure supplying companies have compliance with basic health and safety law and have demonstrated that they can adequately manage health and safety. A fundamental principle of CHAS is to help companies improve their safety management should they fail. They give guidance on any areas of weakness and provide the encouragement and opportunity for improvement.
CSCS
The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card is the industry's largest scheme and, at present, covers 220 occupations including trades, technical, supervisory and management.
CSCS cards list the holder’s qualifications and are valid for either three or five years. It also shows they have health and safety awareness as all cardholders have to pass the appropriate CITB-ConstructionSkills Health and Safety Test.
Most contractors and clients now demand proof of competence, before allowing workers onto their sites, which is provided by a CSCS card.

Operating throughout the UK since 1995, Citation provides professional advice and compliance packages to business clients. Independently endorsed at the highest level its market leading services provide guaranteed protection in the high risk areas of employment law and health & safety regulations.
