Insect and Fly Screens

Insect and fly screens are a requirement for many health-related and kitchen premises with open windows. We have also noticed that the milder, wetter UK climate has lead to an increase in demand for this type of product.

Our purpose-made insect and fly screens are quality products constructed to a commercial specification with extruded aluminium outer frames (as opposed to cheaper UPVC and plastic) in a White or Brown powder-coated finish.

A choice of mesh is available:

• 18 x 16 (strands per square inch) Fibreglass in standard Charcoal Grey or special order White
• 18 x 16 (strands per square inch) Aluminium in standard Silver or special order Black & Charcoal
• 17 x 12 (strands per square inch) Suntex (heavy duty) in standard Grey or Black
• 18 x 14 (strands per square inch) 0.22mm Stainless Steel wire (special purpose) in standard Silver finish

Window Protection

Our window screens are available in hinged, horizontally sliding, and lift out options to suit an existing window layout and can be installed externally or internally.

Door Protection

Our door screens are available in hinged standard and heavy duty outer frames with mid-rails and kick plates to ensure high levels of structural integrity. We can also provide purpose-made chain door screens for heavy duty traffic areas.

All of our screens are easily cleaned with warm soapy water, and allow maximum ventilation whist remaining effective at stopping the ingress of insects and flies.

A site survey is always recommended to ensure a design that is effective as an insect inhibitor and convenient to access for window or door operation.
